3rd September 2011 Windsurfing: Felixstowe Manor Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: 8kts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: hot Sea Temperature: warm Weather: ferfect Max Speed: 10kts (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: not much Maker Ian me and Andy M debated for 45mins as the Manor sea breeze built to 10kts. whilst I plated to windward in harness and straps on 9.5M tushy/phantom, Maker and didn't get much on 8.5M/Equipe 2. Hanging out at the docks was marginally better for me but the day died without a decent sail. Ian was also just under (Ian u need a decent 7.5M I tell u for that Isonic Maker was moaning with a one star - but 3 stars for me because the wildlife was great this time of the year, and all including Andy M who stayed to watch the brown tits, are rare sight this time of the year at Felixstowe! Cant beat nature on a fine summers day :) The bolt losing the 100M made the bookie grin and emptied my pocket, then it filled back up again today for the 200M thank u lord :) The bookies made sure the Bolt /Dix forecast 1,2 odds were dire knowing they would lose. Maker says its big Sunday tommorrow... |
